Everyone no matter how old they are, where they live, or how much money they have in their pockets have something in their minds and hearts that they wish would materialize in the world. Unfortunately, the vast majority of us do not take our ideas to the next level due to a variety of factors, including the lack of adequate knowledge, resources and personal fortitude. The challenge of bringing dreams into reality pierces the heart of the human condition and directly confronts the human will to progress because we all possess the ability to deftly dance between aspiration and achievement, and the gap that exists between those two points--the actualization gap--must be narrowed in a meaningful way for the world to reach its full potential. South Africa was the last African state to gain independence from European colonial influence. The country developed and implemented its first democratic constitution in 1996. Of utmost importance in the founding principles of the constitution is acknowledgment of “human dignity and equality, and advancement of human rights and freedoms.”(Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, No. 108 of 1996) Equal access to education for all persons is outlined in section 29 of the constitution.
